Sweet photography from the banks of the Clyde, Glasgow.

These pictures have nothing to do with me except that I bought a box full of 15x12 inch plate glass negatives at auction a few years ago.
They were taken in the late eighteen hundreds by Evelyn Carey, documenting the construction of the Forth Bridge. Lugging a 15x12 camera and glass plates, sometimes to great heights, then setting up in often strong winds must have been fun. Hats off to Evelyn.
